Tetsuo has been involved in global business for many years and has expertise in B2B sales, marketing strategy, and new product development, as well as the general management experience at two Forturne500 multi-national companies.
As President and Representative Director of UPS Japan Co., Ltd., the Japanese subsidiary of UPS, the world’s largest international delivery company, he contributed to expanding sales and market share in the Japanese market.
Prior to joining UPS, he served as General Manager of Emerson Japan Co., Ltd.’s Branson Business Unit, where he led business expansion in Japan and Southeast Asian countries.
Before embarking on a career as a general manager, he worked as a Global Product Manager at Emerson’s Branson U.S. headquarters in strategic planning and new product development, and gained sales experience at Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd.’s Japanese and U.S. bases.
In addition to management experience in the different industries of manufacturing and logistics, he has extensive global business experience not only in Japan but also in the United States and Southeast Asia.
Currently, he provides executive coaching as the founder and representative director of Presence Japan Co., Ltd. In addition, based on his many years of experience in global business, he strongly believes in the power of diversity and is active as a partner of Lincqord.
